I just found this blogspot for the Monastery of the Benedictine Monks of the Crucified.
Only one article is in English. Since I understand Portugues, I can tell you that they
are sending out an appeal for an Altar Missal in Latin (Extraordinary Form) and two
sets of the Latin Breviary. There is nothing available in Brazil for the TLM or Latin Breviary
nor does anyone plan on publishing it. Do help if you can & let others who may be able to help know about this need. Also, they are accepting new members and are planning on a foundation for women also. Anyone interested? But they are very poor; probably poorer
than most Franciscans! Pray for them…

"We were originally Benedictines of the Anglican Communion but have now returned to the See of Peter and His Successor, our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI. Our Priory is under the jurisdiction of the Local Ordinary in the Diocese of Braganca Paulista in Sao Paulo State, Brazil."

FANTASTIC!

Pray for them!! By God’s Grace, they will find the help they need!

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

yes, they are. I live in Brazil -but I am American). They are using the Novus Ordo Altar
Missal & Liturgy of the Hours. They have permission to go Extraodinary, but cannot get the needed books. Also, being very poor here in Brazil (3rd World) they do not have the money to by them. Furthermore, nothing is available here. All the Latin publishers are either in the US or the EU…
At the moment, they need two sets of the Roman Breviary & one TLM Altar Missal.

How would we be able to help them? Would they need us to buy the books from somewhere and mail them to them? Or some other way?

Wouldn’t there be many used books in sacristies which have gone modern and discarded them?
