The app seems nice. It searches the area for available priests. I think they have to use the app too. Check it out.
Thanks Bear!

But is this app meant to make the Sacrament of Reconciliation digital?

Well, Laudate has one, I dont care for it though. Right now I use simplenote which is like a notepad app. And yes… it has a LOCK on it! My brother knows my phone lock in case of an emergency. I list all sins, venial or otherwise. I would most certainly forget if I didn’t write it down, especially if it is a while between confessions.

Same here. Though mine has a finger ID password 😂

In my (semi) professional opinion, I’m not a fan of biometric passwords. There are 2^17 total combinations for a 4 digit numerical password. That’s 160,000 passwords. If you don’t use repeating digits, it’s 2^15, which is 38,416 passwords. You have ten fingerprints that will basically never change unless you, what, maim your finger? You can’t change a biometric password like you can a numerical one, once it’s compromised, it’s compromised. You just pick another finger to secure it. And it is possible to hack into a phone with a lifted fingerprint. So, stick with traditional passwords. 😛

I still like it 😁. Also I doubt anyone wants to hack into my phone 😉

How about someone who wants to wipe it and sell it after they steal it? 😅

Sure! Depends on how bad the crack is, granted, a superficial one wouldn’t be too expensive. If it’s really bad, then it’d be $300, in which case you’re right, it may be a little more trouble than it’s worth. Anyway, I’ve driven this far enough off topic!

What part of the country are you in, if you don’t mind me asking.

If one day you will link a credit card to it to make payments with it (and if you use fingerprints then you probavly will use NFC also to buy things with your phone) then it is obvious why some1 might want to hack into it.

I guess. But right now, no one wants it 🤣🤣
