Thanks for posting that item, Rony. I knew it 3 days ago from an “inside source” but since it hadn’t been officially announced, I didn’t want to scoop the press!

In case anyone is interested, Mor Yousef was most recently bishop of the Eparchy of Our Lady of Deliverence (USA). I’ve met him on numerous occasions over the past 20-some years, and he has impressed me greatly. I wish I could attend the installation! Oh well …

The ecclesiastical communion was granted by Pope Benedict XVI yesterday and, today, the newly-elected Patriarch and the entire Holy Synod, together with their retired Patriarchs, met the Pope in audience.
