Start page 11-15
then pages 18-19 (Hymn of the Incarnation)
Then page 22 (3rd Antiphon)
Then page 24 (little entrance’s entrance hymn)
Then flip to the back for the Tropar and Kontak
Then back to 27 for the responses, and the thrice holy hymn
then page 34-37 for the dialogs around the prokimenon (which is itself in the back) and the lection (in another book), the alleluiarion (verses in the back) and the Gospel (in another book)
Pages 38-41 may be skipped (an optional litany)
Pages 42-43 are the cheribukon
then on to page 49-52 for the beginning of the prayer over the gifts and the creed
Then on to page 55-56 for the beinning of the Anaphora
Then 58-59.
Then 61-63 for more of the anaphora
64 is another optional litany
65 introduction for the Our Father
66 gets us to the Tone 1 Our Father, but we use page 74 Tone 4 Podoben…
76-78 is the doxology and leads on through the communion hymn, which may page 78, 79, 80, or 81, or instead be in the back of the book.
The actual psalms sung during communion are in the Cantor’s Companion. If the prescribed psalm is completed, a hymn from the back of the book may be sung.
82-84 is the communion rite and through the “May our Mouth be filled”
87-90 gets us into the beginning of the closing prayers.
A closing hymn of reflection, optional, is in another book. Usually, we sing the hymns we used to sing during communion, or hymns we’ve borrowed from the Russian and Ukrainian Orthodox, or hymns prescribed for a feast day by the Metropolia.
Really, you Romans have little to complain about even if using a miniature of the altar missal. 6-9 page changes (ferial vs major feast) + 4 hymns
