I must not have worded my last post well and will try again. What I need to know is if anyone has evidence of why Pokémon is not good for children ( or adults!) Please post evidence to the dangers ONLY!! This is NOT a debate on Pokémon! I am convinced it is evil but need backup and only request those posts. If you have a different perspective post your own but stay off this please. Thank you!

I want to know why you think Pokemon is evil. Can you answer that? It would certainly assist us in finding what you are looking for. Do you think it’s some kind of Satanic card game that’s going to suck your spirit out of you and into the bowels of hell or do you think time and money spent on a fantasy kids game is a form of acedia?

Not Pokémon per se, but Pokémon Go specifically is good for the physical health and for socializing for people with autism, says the evidence.

Oops. I just noticed that you asked for dangers only. Never mind my post then! So sorry.

You’re already convinced it’s evil, but need evidence to show it? And you don’t want people to post counter-arguments.

  1. If you’re playing Pokemon Go you might not pay attention to where you’re walking and have an accident.
  2. You might annoy your parents because you spend too much time staring at your screen.
  3. You might not do your homework because you’re playing Pokemon instead.

Points 2 and 3 can be used for any video game, social media, or any technology that some people might find addicting. Point 1, people get into accidents texting while walking.

Anyway, I don’t think this would be what the OP is looking for as none of these makes anything inherently evil.
