NEW prayer request from Laurel

This morning our sister in Christ Laurel called me and told me her son was in a bad auto accident last night. He has a concussion, two fractured arms and is scraped up all over.
Please pray for him.

O Lord, please watch over Laurel’s sone and heal him quickly, both physically and mentally. Help Laurel to easr her nerves and stay calm. In Jesus name we pray.

Lord, please protect Laurel’s son in the wake of this terrible accident. Grant him strength to recover from his injuries, and faith in you to heal all things. Offer comfort to his family, that their worries may rest with you and your divine mercy.

Keeping Laurel’s son in prayer…
 
I have an update from Laurel,
Her son is home, with two broken arms, and bad road rash from his face to his feet. He was thrown, had he not been he would have been killed as his truck flipped two times and came down and caused the front glass to meet the back glass. It will be a long time in getting better, right now they are trying to get a part of his shirt the was ground into his back out of the wound.

Thank you for this update…and may the recovery be speedy and complete and without undue discomfort and pain…
 
This is about her son Christopher:
#1 Thank everyone so much for all the prayers. Christopher was headed for a massive blood infection. If he would not have
gone to the hospital tonight - he would have been in critical condition in another 24 hrs … Cleaning
his wounds are like cleaning the skin off a burn victim. He’s in terrible pain. Tomorrow at 7:30 AM
I have to bring him to an orthopedic. His fingers are getting numb and turning blue. The nurse told me that on Sunday night - when he was brought in - they should have had nurses clean his wounds. His shirt was so stuck on his shoulder wound that the material had to be left on all night . My brother in law cut his shirt off last night. The ER needs better people who care more.
Today’s nurse told me she was absolutely APPALLED at his condition and the fact that he did not get proper care in the ER Sunday night.
They would not admit him till he would get into a CRITICAL condition. By the way the nurse talked, he would have been that way in another 24 hrs.
God is watching. ((From me: they went to the ortho doctor and found out that his hands and fingers will be all right))

And, I will keep in touch as much as possible.
Please keep up those prayers.
I look at his wounds and think of the wounds Jesus suffered. Although Christopher’s are cerainly not the same - I’m crying seeing him in such agony. How Mother Mary suffered, Cookie.
And, how Jesus suffered !!

Christopher slept all night & is still asleep in the recliner. Cookie, I saw some improvement in him last night … not a whole lot … but a sign that he is getting better.
He has not eaten a bite of food since Sunday - last night he did drink part of a can of Ensure. He says he is just not hungry. He drinks very little & that concerns me but he
doesn’t want to be babied - so I keep asking God to keep His arm around my shoulder
and His Hand over my mouth !

I will try to get back on the Internet and write you later today - Christopher is in such pain that he doesn’t want me to get too far away from him and -yet- the pain aggravates him and he fusses me. When he apologizes, I told him that it’s certainly all right as I will love him ( as I have always ) no matter what he says. I know it’s coming from that excruciating pain when we have to “scrub” the dead skin cells off.

#2 Her father, Mr Raymond, is doing so much better, he is back to cooking.

#3 Her nephew, 3 mo old, Jacob, is still on steroids, and is improving.

She gives God all His due credit for the wondrous acts upon her family.

God Bless you all form the bottom of my my heart for praying for this family as we do for all the prayer requests.

Got an e-mail from Laurel, her husband, Eddie, is having chest pains. So please add him to her other requests, her son slept all night last night without pain meds, Praise God!!!
