New Priory Press was re-founded this year by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Albert the Great in Chicago.
They have some really great titles, so check them out. My summation is this: their books are weighty, but readable. They write for adults looking for theologically-rich, serious texts that are also accessible to an average but committed reader.
I hope people will support them! The Dominicans are, imho, in one of the best situations of all religious communities/Orders in the USA. They appeal to me so much because of their academic-yet-evangelical temperament and style.
