New Roman Missal Begins?

Today is suppose to be the last Sunday for the old translation. My question is does the new translation start tomorrow during Daily mass, or next Sunday?
 
It starts the First Sunday of Advent, so this weekend (Saturday Vigil and Sunday Mass)…
 
So the old translation is still going to be used throughout this week?

I would say yes because the new Liturgical Church year doesn’t officially begin until the First Sunday of Advent. So yes the weekday Masses in the Liturgy this coming week until the end of Friday will be said using the same (Roman Missal) Sacramentary being used in today’s Solemnity.
 
Thank you, I was just curious. I keep hearing that this will be the last time using these translations, but I was thinking what if we go to daily mass.

Officially, throughout the U.S., yes.

However, our bishop has authorized his priests to use the new translation at daily Mass. This started on All Saints. Some priests have taken advantage, some have not. In the same memo, the bishop did not authorize the laity to begin to use the new responses.

So, we’ve been hearing the new translation at daily Mass for three weeks. It is beautiful. And the world didn’t end when the priest said “for many.”:rolleyes:
 
We are using the old mass until first Sunday in Advent. I was so relieved that I get to hear my prayers a few more times before they are gone forever. Sorry, not a happy camper here. Nothing has been put out other than the pew cards–but those have been around for a week or so.
 
my parish is currently practicing the text of the new. I hope the new missals are books with GOOD art on the cover :rolleyes:
