New schedule; miffed by last parish

The last parish we were in had been located in the area, or close to it, where I’ve been doing some charitable work. This particular apostolate works out of a non-profit, in a “bad” part of town, and the parish actually has some “street cred.” One guy told me the ppl there had been so nice that he nearly converted. The area remembers them. The old campus has apparently been bought by the local university for the sake of a Newman Center.

I asked this former parish of mine to please run a bulletin announcement for certain volunteer positions because they have so much talent. They flatly refused, and didn’t say why. I was cut to the heart. I have no intention of ever setting foot on their property again.

On the heels of that, I had the epidural steroid injection for my arms. Additionally, this all happened around the end of the novena to Our Lady of Good Success. I had been praying for justice for my family, and justice for the Kingdom of God. I received the inspiration to start a new routine – new mass time followed by rejoining the gym. When we are able, we are to attend the Latin Mass in another city close by on Sunday.

Hubby’s in the interview process for a job in the Midwest. I had been praying to St. Joseph for his job, and kept getting, “Let it come to you.” This job was a recommendation from someone he worked with in that state when on business trips. (Hope that makes sense).

Long story short, I need prayers for the former parish; thank the Lord that the new parish put up the notice; guidance as to where I can send the notice; and safe transition in the event of relocation. I also need to know if I’m being too hard on that parish, but I really don’t want to meet any of them in person right now.

Prayed for your intentions in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Hail Mary
Full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death, Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
