I hope so, and once I do, I will consider that as a medicine which will cure me.
And if that happens I will drink alcohol ONLY in the Baptism and in the Eucharist if required.

I’m posting this because I was surprised by the amount of pubs and the large selections of wins at the grocery stores in the secular country which I’ve visited this summer, and before my fellow Muslims give credit to Islam, here are some verses from the Bible in both OT & NT that condemn alcohol, so if Muhammed had prohibited alcohol for us, then he could have taken it from the Bible or he wanted his fighters to concentrate in their wars.

(Ephesians 5:18):
“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.”

(Habakkuk 2:15):
“Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, so that he can gaze on their naked bodies.”

(1 Corinthians 6:9-10):
“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

(Galatians 5:21):
“and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

(Hosea 4:10-11):
“They will eat but not have enough; they will engage in prostitution but not increase, because they have deserted the LORD to give themselves to prostitution, to old wine and new, which take away the understanding”.

(Proverbs 20:1):
“Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.”

(Proverbs 23:29-30):
“Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.”

**Jesus said it’s not what goes into a person but what comes out of his heart and mouth which condemns him. By the way, I know a lot of people who don’t drink alcohol and act as if they have a shrunken brain anyway. 🤷 **

Hey! I didn’t give you permission to bring me into this as an example of the non-alcoholic “headshrunken”!

…but now that you have, yeah, it’s true, but it’s not REALLY so bad, 'cause we can always amuse ourselves by rocking our heads side-to-side to make that “thunk”-ing noise, which many of us can “tune” by varying our slackjawed gaping mouths so as to make clever little tunes which only WE can hear.

It’s a good time waster while standing in line as Costco!

from what i know about alcohol… it is actually good for the brain, in sm amouts…

(by the way… ever noticed how vegetarians are always so edgy and grouchy??? ) kinda the same thing with teetolators…
