New SSPX Video: The Rosary Crusade

Very fine video…I personally am not an SSPX’er…but I have always had a rather large and soft spot for them in my heart…especially considering how a lot of people in our Catholic Church find it more convenient and expedient to be kinder to our heretical protestant brethren as opposed to our traditional fellow Catholics…Great video…loved it and will promote it. “Her Immaculate Heart Will Prevail”!!!
 
i love it, i dont know why they dont agree with the N.O mass but i think they should come back please pray that the holy father can reclaim them for they uphold all that we have forgotten and will forget. i dont belong to the SSPX but i believe they are good faithful people who just dont like the new mass and thats fine as they are trying to go back to the pope.
 
The consecration has already been made. They’ll never make it back if they cannot accept the OF and VII. More of the same.

More of the same alright. More venom. Even with the acknowledgment in the video that some believe the Consecration has occurred, and asking those who believe it has been, still pray the Rosary anyway for Our Holy Father, we have a drive by slur thrown into the thread because the SSPX is in the title.

Oh, please, I Believe, that wasn’t venom (and I’d point out that their take of the OF in the video MIGHT be construed as venomous). I honestly hope that the SSPX will experience a conversion of heart and do what is right: embrace the OF and the Council. Neither of those things is going away and I don’t want anyone to be lost. If you took it as venom, I’ll apologize.

Repeat after me: the old Mass has been abrogated and can only be said with a special indult; pro-multis is accurately translated as “for all”, and Russia has been Concecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as requested by May at Fatima. If anyone tries to convince you otherwise, put your fingers in your ears, jump up and down, and repeat the party-line.

And when Rome admits that the old Mass was not abrogated and that “for all” is the wrong translation of pro multis, never mentioned the subject again and pretend you did not agrue to the contrary for years and years.

If anyone really wants to know what the crisis in the Church is all about, find a copy of the books: “Horn of the Unicorn” and “Mouth of the Lion”, by Doctor David Allen White.

These are extremely informative books, very well written, and easy to read (I found the first 100 pages of the Lion one hard going, but the rest of it makes it very much worth the slog).

I suppose it would be good for me to do a book review, and to post it up here.
 
Not that I want to doubt but I wish someone here could lead me to the website where Pope Benedict (“officially”) declared the Consecration of Russia ?

If this is true how come you don’t see this in the headlines in the Catholic media ?
The official Consecration of Russia is something monumental. This has not been made common news in my archdiocese. What gives ?

It is rather amazing that when some people see SSPX they go into attack dog mode. :rolleyes:

I’ve never said nor hear it said that the old Mass was abrogated.

Read ALL the documents on “Pro multis” issued by the CDW (you can find them on the Holy See’s website). They never said it was an exact translation and when they decided that they WANTED an exact translation rather than a dynamic equivalent, they stated that it had NO bearing on the validity of the Mass.

I don’t need to jump up and down. I can simply trust the Church.

There hasn’t been any venom or lack of charity. That said, I find it rather astonishing and ironic that some “traditionalists” that post in these fora dare to bring the word up, given their constant and unrelenting attacks on the Church.

What you speak here is a matter of opinion. As far as constant unrelenting attacks on the Church I see them uncharitable swinging on both sides of the table. Just to inform you I am not a devout Traditionalist though I am leaning in that direction.

I’m not a traditionalist at all, though I pray by God’s Grace to always be an orthodox Catholic. I would respectfully urge you to examine this forum and it’s archives. Any objective soul would see the constant and BITTER attacks on the Church.
 
I’ve thought on this. Let the Holy Father do another consecration. It’s a matter of private revelation anyway. We aren’t bound to believe that it happened at all, though I do. So what could it hurt?

As a Pagan I agree. Whenever something bad is mentioned about the Church people go into the “Everything is fine! Everything is fine! There are no problems everything is fine!” mode.

Or they blame Obama/Gays/Pagans/Liberals/[insert group or person here]

I’ll never understand why so many Catholics want to toss so much of the faith away and become Protestantism for the College Educated. Yes a Catholic I know in real life said words to this effect. Catholicism is Christianity for people with College degrees.
