The authors of scripture wrote their manuscripts and letters to either individuals or groups. Then the faithful made copies to share throughout all the various churches.are these letters actual hand written letters written in greek that were found in those churches?
There are many extant manuscripts, some from as early as the 2nd century. Are they placed in a museum?
I don’t think I understand your question. They came from Peter and Paul, who wrote them. Were did paul letters or peters come from?
I might be wrong but I think the poster is asking if any original New Testament documents have survived. I am not aware any originals have survived although I think a fragment of Mark’s Gospel sits in the British Museum. The authors of scripture wrote their manuscripts and letters to either individuals or groups. Yes, the were hand written, there were not any other options.
And, yes, they were written in Greek, although some scholars believe Matthew was originally written in Hebrew.

No. We do not have a single scrap of writing of any of the original Epistles of either Paul or Peter.are these letters actual hand written letters written in greek that were found in those churches?
Maybe you could site your source. A few scholars believe that a tiny bit of the Dead Sea Scrolls (fragment 7Q5) cites (just) two verses of the Gospel of Mark (6:52-53). They are pretty good verses (part of the Eucharistic account paralleled in John 6).interesting, do you have a link to the poster who said a fragment of the gospel of mark exits. Lately I’ve been thinking how the bible was put together and were these books, letters were found etc Like once I heard when they found the dead sea scrolls and compared the translation it was pretty accurate of what we already knew. God protects his word
About a month ago the CBS news program 60 Minutes went into the Vatican Library and viewed a fragment of John’s Gospel and other artifiacts.are these letters actual hand written letters written in greek that were found in those churches? First of all, we no longer have the originals, i.e. the actual handwritten first-edition copies. What we have are copies and copies of copies and so on. In fact, parts of the New Testament have been preserved in more manuscripts than any other ancient work, having over 5,800 complete or fragmented Greek manuscripts, 10,000 Latin manuscripts and 9,300 manuscripts in various other ancient languages including Syriac, Slavic, Gothic, Ethiopic, Coptic and Armenian.are these letters actual hand written letters written in greek that were found in those churches? That’s what Carsten Peter Thiede and Fr. José O’Callaghan proposed, but personally I side with the majority here and doubt their interpretation. I just think that isn’t it kind of odd that a cache of manuscripts connected with a sect who so rigorously and strictly stressed ritual purity (more so than any other Jewish group of the period, even the Pharisees) would contain the fragment of a section that precedes the Markan pericope of Jesus mitigating the purity laws of the old covenant (7:1-23)?Maybe you could site your source. I’ve never heard anyone claim that the DSS preserves the Gospel (except for perhaps two verses in one of four books), or any part of any Epistle.
