This is what Liturgiam Authenticam notes:
The text you are citing comes from the Genesis account of Abraham’s sacrifice and the name he gave the place where it occurred.
The translation we are using has been in effect prior to the promulgation of Liturgiam Authenticam. I greatly suspect that once the new translation of the Roman Missal is finally approved and in place, the next item to be tackled will be the Lectionary, since it must be brought up to code.
From what I can tell, based on some of the observations made by the late Fr. Richard John Neuhaus, the Carribean uses the RSV-CE 2nd Edition, I believe. From what I have read of the translations of the readings in the Papal Mass worship aids, the English version that they use is from the New Jerusalem Bible. Canada uses the NRSV and we, for our part, are stuck with the RNAB.
The nuts and bolts of LA is that, as far as I can tell, everything should accurately and authentically match up to whatever texts exist in Latin. That is why LA was very clear that the new Latin vulgate should be used when making translations of scripture for use in the Mass. Thus the new Latin vulgate is the standard by which the translations should be measured against.
