New US Bishop: Atlanta Auxiliary

Bishop-elect Bernard E. Shlesinger III was named Auxiliary Bishop of Atlanta, Georgia, USA and titular bishop of Naiera.

He had been a priest of Raleigh, North Carolina and serving as spiritual director of St. Charles Borromeo seminary in Philadelphia.

Fr. Ned will be a wonderful bishop. He was vocations director of the Raleigh Diocese before being invited to be the spiritual director at St. Charles Borromeo seminary. He is a kind, gentle, orthodox priest who spends time in Adoration daily. Atlanta is lucky to get him.
