New US Bishop: Baker, Oregon

This morning the Holy See announced the decision of Pope Benedict XVI to name Bishop-elect Liam Stephen Cary as Bishop of Baker, Oregon, USA.

The diocese had been vacant since Bishop Robert Francis Vasa was named Coadjutor Bishop of Santa Rosa in California in January 2011.
