Bishop-elect Steven Biegler was named Bishop of Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA.

The diocese had been vacant since then-Bishop Paul Dennis Etienne was named Archbishop of Anchorage, Alaska in October 2016.

Bishop-elect Biegler has been serving as a priest of Rapid City.
