So I have a job now so I want to (for the most part) buy a new wardrobe and donate the clothes I have now. My question is, I am trying to make this new wardrobe more modest. And so I have some short shorts and short dresses that I don’t wear because of the immodesty. So I don’t want to give them away just so another girl can be immodest. But at the same time I feel bad just tossing them. Should I just toss them all?

You could cut them into 12" or so squares and have a long term supply of cleaning rags.

Any chance you could go through my step daughters Floordrobe ?
She needs a few things thrown out …

you can wear the shorts with leggings around home when the weather is cool. The dresses can also be worn with stockings, boots and a jacket when you go out during winter, no necessarily to work. Short dresses are nice in winter as you can layer them up. You can google layering up summer dresses for winter to get some ideas.

Some short dresses can be shortened further and used as a top/tunic.

Do this!! Adding leggings and boots to a dress is tres chic and would negate the issue of modesty if the leggings were solid colored… you would be able to wear them out in public still too. This style is huge in Europe and I love the look.

When my shirts/shorts get to be too short, or immodest, I always wear them when I do housework. That way, (for example) if I get bleach on them, it won’t matter because they are strictly for housecleaning. For the dresses, I would follow the advice of the other posters and use them for layering. I hope I could help you out! Much Love 🙂
