I happen to love Andean music but I am greatly saddened to see that Missa Criolla. I am also Cajun and I am glad to say that I am not aware of any Missa Chank-a-Chank here. Music of the dance hall stays in the dance hall.
 
Wow! Since I’ve been away things certainly are taking a change for the better. I was not aware that there are traditional Catholic parishes.

It was only recently that I learned the Tridentine Mass has become available at some parishes. That led me to confession and resumption of the faith I thought I had lost for 45 years! Now to my great astonishment and joy I find out that young Catholics are beginning to find renewed interest in the Church I knew as a young man.

I would join a traditional parish in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, the nearest one is in Berlin, NJ, about 80 miles from my home in Berks County, PA.

This thread is about a new website listing Traditional Catholic Parishes.

I think your comments are related to a different post found on Rorate Caeli.

I do agree with your comments. Maybe the Misa Criolla should be a thread of it’s own?
