The media does not print articles about Catholics who support their bishops, or about non-Catholics who attack Catholic bishops. They are looking for Catholics who disagree with Catholic bishops, or with the Vatican.

I think you are right. You rarely hear about how Catholic some Catholic Republicans in Congress are (and if you do it’s spun in a negative light), but you constantly hear about how Catholic dissents in Congress are “Catholic.”

I believe you are right. That’s why I want so much to say “but Catholics are their own worst enemy” when someone brings up the topic of Catholics being the most persecuted.

Also I am surprised that a city as big as New York only has ONE Church offering the TLM.

Likewise. I can think of 2 in Detroit city proper that offer a daily EF Mass. And 7 in the archdiocese that offer it weekly.
