Hello! Just new here. Hope somebody can enlight me on what to do if you and your husband had different believes. Before he is also a catholic but just last year he become bornagain without my knowledge and now he irretates me because he always found ways to critizes my religion. It also affected my feelings for him. What should i do?😦

Prayer.

I get frustrated when Catholics leave the faith. I personally blame education on the church after Vatican II. I for one did not know my faith when I was confirmed and ended up shopping around for a religion. Thankfully I ended up with a group that taught me my faith and put me back on the path of understanding. People that leave the church are searching for something and they think they have found it when in all reality it was right there in the Catholic church. I would ask him why he left, why he didn’t bother to share it with his wife, and if he talked over his decision with a priest. I don’t understand how people can leave without at least searching for an answer from their church. Remember to be patient and to listen carefully.

Ask him to read “Rome Sweet Home” by Scott Hahn and Surprised by Truth" by Patrick Madrid. You should read them too.

My dear sister,
Be gracious! Consider this a calling from the Lord to strengthen your knowledge of the faith. Please, do not hold any contempt for him. Consider any contempt the devil himself infesting you in order to disrupt your Godly marriage.
I agree with Polycarp1, Rome Sweet Home is a great book. But if you share with us what his reasons for leaving are, maybe we can help some.
He should know that it is not respectful to not discuss such an important decision with you before hand. But he is your husband, so respect him without agreeing it is the right choice.

God bless,
Michael

15*But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

This is an excellent time to strengthen your faith show him how fun being catholic is my wife is a baptist that is very very slowly warming up to things catholic. From an anti catholic to someone who encourages me never to miss mass and goes with me a lot 🙂

Remember the catholic church wrote the bible so thier is no line in it the church doesn’t have a sound answer for
