A friend of mine just had a baby on Tuesday morning. The child whose name is Wyatt has a congenial heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=1353).

He will be undergoing the first of three surgeries to enable him to survive on Friday morning. If it wouldn’t be too much trouble, I would ask that you join in me in keeping baby Wyatt in your prayers.

Lord we lift this little one up to You and ask for this the first of three surgeries goes well. Guide the hand of the surgeon. Comfort the family. In the precious Name of Jesus our Lord we pray. Amen.

Lord, please heal Wyatt. Grant him health and the best of care from his doctors. Help his parents and doctors to place all their trust in you. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
