Not to Moderator: Just needed to correct a news error. The other thread is too clogged up with posts.
**I’d like to remind you all that “Catholic World News” is completely fallible. **
“Catholic World News is an independent Catholic news service staffed by lay Catholic journalists, dedicated to providing accurate world news, written from a distinctively Catholic perspective.”

According to CNS, which has more authority since they are part of the USCCB, the Pope has not yet approved the document. Neither have I heard anything about it in other reliable sources. ABC News and other secular news agencies also said that the Pope had not yet approved the document. So, the document is still currently sitting on the Pope’s desk awaiting his decision.
“A top official at one of the congregations working on the instruction insisted Sept. 22, “It has not been approved. There is nothing new” to report about the document’s progress.”-Catholic News Service, Sept. 22, 2005.

Please, let’s not rely on one single news agency, and try to double check with other sources.
