Lol but seriously, the article doesn’t seem to say it was anything but a woman celebrating her singlehood in the most extra way possible (no legal significance).
 
Perhaps, but it does not change the fact that one can be married to oneself.

Haha…happiness doesn’t depend on a man…until the sink needs unblocking. Or the windows need to be cleaned. Or the gutters cleared. Or you need to put up shelves…
 
The article states that Italy does not recognize self-marriages. All she did was go through the hoopla of a wedding and reception by herself as a kind of big joke. Then spent $13,000 on a “honeymoon” vacation by herself.

I have a relative that fixed her own washer. Via appliance repair sites/youtube videos – she tracked down the problem --got the parts – put her washing machine back in action.
 
She would have probably made some unaware beta miserable. Good call on her part. Colossal waste of money though.
 
Is it an open marriage? Is she allowed to date other people?
Maybe she can get an annulment if it doesn’t work out.
 
Seems like a decent motivation being carried out in a rather silly way.

It is reality however. If you want to be a playboy, there has never been a better era than now both in terms of social mores and technology.

What does feminism offer the nice-guy in return?

A 35+ year old woman with a string of previous sex partners and possibly someone else’s kid. She is gonna make you wait for sex unlike every other partner and one suspects that the quantity and quality will both be subpar too. Throw in the fact that any kids you have are more likely to have birth defects, and we have not even touched on the legal or social ramifications yet.
 
You have stated enough in various threads – of what you expect from a woman/wife. Doesn’t come close to Catholic marriage. So a “red-piller” is no prize for any woman with a head on her shoulders.
