Ex-Fox Glenn Beck’s syndicated site theblaze.com is worth a look - there are a ton of updated stories on the site. (I’ve taken a second look at Beck lately because of his newfound appreciation for iconic American inventor Nikola Tesla.)

The Knights of Columbus run a website called “Catholic Pulse: News Catholics Need to Know.”

If you merely look at the top of the webpage, it appears to be all commentary. However, if you scroll halfway down, you’ll see that recent news stories are divided into Church news, US news and World news. The articles which are selected come from a variety of media outlets, both Catholic and the mainstream press.
You may want to give it a look.

It’s not for me anymore. I could give you many examples and will if you want. I will give one that is really troubling to me.
Bill O’Reilly claims to be fair and balanced in fact all of them do. Anyway last year he had Father Jonathan Morris and Robert Jeffress on the “No Spin Zone.” Basically to prostitute more selling of his book “Killing Jesus.” Here we have a Roman Catholic Priest and O’Reilly who likes to wear his Catholicism on his sleeve like some merit badge. Both have received the Sacrament of Confirmation and neither one confronted Robert Jeffress about his anti-Catholic bigotry! We become soldiers for Christ when we receive that sacrament, and it’s a work or mercy to instruct the ignorant. And yet we have two Roman Catholic’s on prime time news yucking it up with a bigot from a heretical sect.
I can give you many more examples. At least the other networks don’t hide their agenda.
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

You don’t agree in what way? O’Reilly did not ask Jeffress once about Roman Catholicism being the Whore of Babylon. Father Morris was also silent on the matter. How can Jeffress sit there and recommend any book by a “disciple” of the Whore of Babylon? I guess Jeffress can look the other way, because his book gets plugged by O’Reilly who owns the prime time spot. And the demographics are overwhelmingly the “christian right.” They both worship the golden calf of Capitalism.

MSNBC does not pretend to be something they are not. They don’t hide their pro death, pro contraception, pro sodomy, culture of death and big government ideologies. So when I turn on MSNBC I know exactly what I’m getting, because they openly believe and advocate there positions. They don’t pretend to be “fair and balanced” and are open about their bias. At least they are honest about their agenda.
