Newsweek has decided to print propaganda. It is tying itself to the currently fashionable trend of Catholic bashing and Christians in general bashing. This too shall pass.

This is why I no longer read the newsmagazines.
There’s no news, just the titillation of the week.

That’s for sure. Even FOXNews.com has caved in—right next to every one of the news articles is a garish flashing advertisement featuring some woman’s jiggling rear end and a blaring headline like “See Bimbette’s Saucy Video Before She Was Famous!”, or some such.

So now it’s gotten to the point where I can’t even allow my kid to access news sites, of all things, because the advertisements are all nothing more than soft-core pornography.

And on top of that, somebody at FOX is obsessed with Britney Spears----half the articles on the home page deal with her and her debauch of the hour…

I read this interview with this women earlier. It’s startling how little she knows of the Catholic faith. Why doesn’t she join the UCC or Episcopal church or for that matter the UU church -they’d gladly welcome her liberal relativistic views with open arms. She’s immature, misguided and needs our prayers for authentic re-conversion to the true Catholic church.
