I was wondering if anyone knew of any OB/GYN doctors who would be supportive of NFP in San Antonio, TX? I had a horrible experience today with a doctor who did not support it and I don’t ever want to repeat that again. He just kept asking “How long have yall been trying” over and over again, even when I told him we weren’t trying, we were using NFP to temporarily avoid. He was a huge jerk, didn’t even seem to care that I thought I may have had a miscarriage, didn’t offer any pre natal vitamins. Please let me know if you now of any!! Thanks!

have you tried omsoul? They have a listening there. You might also try contacting the diocese NFP office, they usually have a list.
Good Luck 👍

There is a Family Practice Dr. in San Antonio listed here:

I didn’t see anyone listed under OB/GYN.

There aren’t any gynecologists within a reasonable distance of me listed at One More Soul, but I find word of mouth is the best available tool in my situation. My family dr. is NFP friendly (as in he doesn’t patronize me or look at me funny when I mention it, and he actually seems to know what it is), and he referred me to a Catholic OB/GYN.

You could also check the directory at the website for the American Association of Pro Life Ob/GYN’s. They may not necessarily be NFP-only, but they’re probably more likely to be sympathetic, at least about the miscarriage issue.
