k, so I’m already wondering what DH and I are going to do next time around for NFP. After DS we relied on LAM for about 7 months until I noticed my CM change. After that I had constant stretchy CM. DH and I TTA but very loosely. I wouldn’t have been surprized if we’d conceived earlier than we did. What if we need to be more reliable next time around? The constant CM and lack of menstrual period would seem to rule out symptothermal and mucus only methods. What else is out there?

You’re forgetting that the sympto-thermal method looks at 3 signs - not just mucous! 😉
Personally, I found the cervical position sign very useful for correlating along with the mucous sign in order to determine when I was fertile… and then using the secondary sign of the basal body temperature - it was fairly obvious. You have to be diligent about charting all your signs correctly, but it DOES work! (I’ve navigated through 3 postpartum times successfully using it!)…

HTH a little…
