NFP Issue

My wife and I are having some difficulty with NFP because of her borderline hypothyroidism. Please pray for us to find a way to resolve these issues, and that her interaction with our non-catholic doctors will not be too traumatic for her. She is sensitive, and they are often blund in their criticism of our Catholic morality.

Father, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, please grant comfort and ease regarding NFP to this couple. They desperately want to serve You as asked. Send Your Holy Spirit to her doctors so they may know how to best care for her. Amen.

Hi Ut! I am lifting your wife and you up in prayer. Are you able to switch to a Catholic doctor?

Thank you all for your prayers. Catholic doctors are very rare here in Canada because we have such a doctor shortage.

Her doctor visit went well, but the doctor said she could be suffering from postpartum depression as well. Hypothyroidism has many of the same symptoms, so she took some blood tests and now we have to wait and see.
