My wife and I are looking into NFP, for a number of reasons. It has not been a issue in the past 16 year. We have 4 children & all we conceived with a little help from medical medicine. We are open to God Plan & Will for our Lives.

I have looked for this question on many of the NFP sites.

My Question;

My wife has **Polycystic ovary syndrome. **Her cycle is irregular and medication is some times needed. Can NFP be used successfully in the charting - Temp - mucus… under this situation?

Thanks you for any personal stories or incite.

Yes. Have you gone to the Couple to Couple League site? You can e-mail them with the particuliars of your situation and any questions. They can be very helpfull and you can also call to get questions answered.

Yes, NFP can work for you.

You should contact a Creighton Model instructor. The Creighton model can do a bit more for couples with fertility issues than Couple to Couple League can do. www.creightonmodel.com and www.fertilitycare.org. Also visit www.popepaulvi.com.

Thanks!

I’ll second the Creighton method. They are set up to help couples go through testing and understand what your “good” options are. The sympto-thermal method may work, but I’d talk to an NFP only physician for that.
