Ok, I can’t find anything on this so if you know a website or something let me know. My question is… When is your fertile period or ovulation, before or after your period???

I’m still new at NFP and need lots of help!!

You cycle is usually defined to “START” at the beginning of your period.
It “ENDS” on the last day before your period begins again…

Ovulation (fertile time) is usually somewhere in the middle, which can vary from woman to woman…

Your fertile period is before your period. The period is the bodies response to an egg that wasn’t fertilized.

You need to either take a class or pick up a book on the NFP method you are using whether it be the Sympto Thermal method as taught by the Couple to Couple League or the Creighton method.

It’s midcycle so it would be before your period but not usually right before your period. There’s a phase of around 10 days, depending on the cycle and the woman, in which you are infertile right before your period.
