Nicene Creed for the Rosary and the Chaplet?

Would it be inappropriate to replace the Apostles’ Creed with the Nicene Creed when praying the Rosary or the Chaplet of Divine Mercy?

Dear CF,

In private recitation you may use the Nicene Creed if you want to.
But Our Lord told St. Foustina to use the Apostles Creed. I would be reluctant to second guess Him. I expect that the Apostles Creed has been used for the Chaplet and the Rosary because it is shorter and easier to remember when it is not before us to read.
