Do you notice when we pray the nicene creed and followed with AND WAS INCARNATE BY THE HOLY GHOST OF THE VIRGIN MARY,AND WAS MADE MAN the priest and his acolyte(s)bown down before the Crucifix?Some mass attenders do the same.
I was curious so I checked out and learned that this adoration must be venerated by church/mass attenders too.Since then I bow down before the Crucifix too.It is such a powerful and striking veneration.
By the way I love attending the Latin Mass:)

Fiat Voluntas Dei Sicut in Terra et in Coelo - Thy Will be Done as on Earth as in Heaven
 
The faithful are to make a profound bow at that time in all Masses, Latin or otherwise–although, at the Latin Masses I have been to it’s a full genuflect that is done.
 
Yes, every missal I have seen notes that the people should bow during this part. We always do. It is an amazing miracle that God became man for our sake.
 
on the feast of the Annunciation I believe we genuflect at this point.
 
At the Latin Mass also genuflect during the Last Gospel…

who are born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (genuflect here) AND THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Yes, normally we make a profound bow (that means more than a head nod) at the words of the Incarnation. On two feast days - the Annunciation (March 25) and the Nativity (December 25) - we genuflect at these words.

Many will, as a devout practice, also make a profound bow during the Angelus at the words - and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

yes thanks for reminding me, back when we recited the Angelus every day in the schoolyard we did genuflect for that verse.
 
In the missal it usually says to bow during that part. It is done out of respect to God brushing aside the veil between Him and humanity and humbling Himself by becoming man.

As an additional side, one should also bow when Jesus’s name is mentioned in both the greed and the gloria.
