I think you may be combining parts of the Nicene Creed with the Apostles’ Creed. The Nicene Creed says:
“…For our sake, He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He arose again in fulfilment of the Scriptures…”
The Apostles’ Creed says:
“…born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell, on the third day he arose again from the dead…”
