Nicki Minaj's new single features Catholics and Nazi's

Niki Minaj has apparently reached an all time low, as if Anaconda wasn’t enough Minaj has recently released another song featuring Nazi’s and what appears to be a Catholic Bishop.

I-I don’t get it. Is there some artistic interpretation or link I’m missing here? The song has nothing to do with either and yet…I’m lost on this one. Like A Prayer’s video was Midnight Mass at the Vatican compared to this one.

Secular sources have exploded in outrage over anti-semitism, but I’ve heard little or nothing from Catholics. What do you make of this and things like it?
 
What on earth did I just listen too? :confused:

I couldn’t get past the bad lyrics and lack of anything musical. Musically this is more offensive than the imagery in the video. Because of my inability to listen to this I missed the anti-Catholic part.
 
Black people wearing a Niki Manaj anagram designed like a swastika and talking about aggressive, degrading sex act with each other and against each other.
It is anti-establishment, and glorifying everything that Western Civilization stands against, I think.
 
I thank God that my children have no interest in listening to that drivel, and no interest in the likes of Niki Minaj, Rihanna, etc.
 
Surely at this stage in society its more alternative and “different” to stand up for Catholicism instead of taking pot shots at the Church #follower-and not in a good way!!

Seriously, watch Mike Judge’s movie Idiocracy. Every day, what it prophesies becomes more and more true.
 
I could only stand the first thirty seconds or so. I’m also confused. I was under the impression that Nicki Minaj was a woman.
 
Speaking of religion in pop culture/music, is anyone familiar with Irish musician Hozier’s “Take Me to Church”?

I saw Idiocracy a few months ago and I agree, it’s where we’re headed. 😦

I thought Lady Gaga’s Alejandro and Judas videos were bad but this one tops it. Nicki Minaj is no stranger to mocking the Catholic church and clergy; she also claims that the spirit of a boy named Roman lives in her. Her “performance” at the 2012 Grammy awards was pure blasphemy. It was called The Exorcism of Roman and included a film clip based on the movie The Exorcist and switched to a stage performance featuring dancers gyrating in hooded monks’ robes, then she switches to singing O Come All Ye Faithful, changing some of the words.

The entertainment industry is so rife with occult symbolism that it makes you wonder what they’re really pushing.

The entertainment industry, especially the pop culture sect, is rife with amorality, debauchery and mindlessness. Then again, it is the entertainment industry.

It’s nothing new, either. Look up songs from the 40’s and 50’s, like Ella Fitzgerald’s “Stone cold dead in the market” and Roy Brown’s “Butcher Pete”. They’re not as over-the-top as today, but they’re just as dark and racy. And the fact that they come from an alleged “golden age” of morality actually makes them funny! 😃

I don’t see the humor in this. Sure, I “get” what you mean but I don’t think pop culture entertainers are a source of anything moral even in the 1950s.

It’s just some (leaving out derogatory adjectives) supposedly human girl megalomatic-role-playing-act. Ridiculous. Not advisable for ALL to watch.

I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I have a friend who likes to say this about everything (happen to agree with her). “Illuminati”. (Not Catholics, Minaj, just to clear that up)
