No, that is not true. Hassan was simply one of more than 300 people who attended conference workshops sponsored by George Washington University’s “Homeland Security Institute.”

He was NOT an organizer of the conference or a member of any of the sponsoring groups, nor was he an “adviser” to the Obama administration in any capacity.
