*The bishops of Nigeria have denounced attempts by international agencies to promote abortion and homosexual unions in their nation.

Decrying “the continuous attempts by foreign agencies to introduce unhealthy values in our society in their campaigns for abortion, condom distribution and promotion of homosexual unions,” the bishops also lamented internal corruption, according to a Fides report.*

Good for them for speaking out. I’m ashamed at many of the sins that Western culture is trying to force on other cultures 😦

God bless the bishops of Nigeria. Don’t put your fists down. Africa is the vanguard of the Church.
 
Pray for Africa and the rest of the developing world that they resist attempts to legalise abortion and homosexual marriage. Pray for the West too.
 
Oh God, in your mercy, bless Nigeria and give them strength to withstand evil. Let their good spread throughout the whole world. Amen.
 
The attitude towards those things over there is so negative, especially homosexual unions, that they wouldn’t dare think of legalizing that, honestly.
