Pope Benedict XVI’s Christmas pleas for peace around the world were brutally ignored in Nigeria, where an explosion Sunday claimed by Muslim extremists ripped through a Catholic church during Mass.
Authorities say at least 25 people were killed by the explosion at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Madalla, near the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Boko Haram, a radical Muslim sect waging a sectarian fight claimed the attack and another bombing near a church in the restive city of Jos.

the Gospel of St. Matthew; ch 5
" [10] Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.[11] Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake: [12] Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you."

Réquiem ætérnam dona eis Dómine; et lux perpétua lúceat eis. Requiéscant in pace. Amen.

I don’t really know what is going on in nigeria, though i’m from nigeria. This is madness. We really need prayers.

I believe we should just let Nigeria naturally separate north and south. The country itself is a construct drawn up by the British and they are the ones backing the north and keeping them disproportionately in power,
