Thanks!
There are many children’s bibles out there, which could be one way to go, although that would not strictly be reading of the day. I know we are trying to decide on a five-year-old level Bible right now, as the ones we have all have various strong and weak points. Many times the goal at that level is to familiarize the kids with the characters and stories in the Bible. I would think the nine-year-old might not need much interpretation for most passages. Second, it might be more important just to do it, and establish that as something Dad thinks is important, and worry about full comprehension down the line.
What did you think of Fr. Larry’s book? My bride got it for me but I haven’t read it yet. A good friend really found it beneficial for his everyday spritual life.
Priest or not, how does he claim to know what percentage of people are going to Hell? Sounds vain in the extreme. Even the Pope does not know that.I liked the book. He is very hard line and I think I may be going to hell. he choice is to be a sinner or a saint. He said that people are going to hell like snowflakes falling to the earth.
He doesn’t claim a percentage, just that many souls are being lost which is undeniable.Priest or not, how does he claim to know what percentage of people are going to Hell? Sounds vain in the extreme. Even the Pope does not know that.
