And now, during this pandemic, they are actually letting dangerous criminals out of our prisons! Do they actually believe these people won’t re-offend and endanger the public? What planet are they from???

I believe in a secret ballot, especially now, but let’s just say I will NEVER help elect a Democrat as that party has now become.

This doesn’t really make sense. If the US government suddenly made all medicines legal, whether they have been tested or not people would not be ok with that.

The writer who seems to have had his/her post removed is making a distinction between legal and illegal immigrants and they were right to do do.

There is a reason why one would want to put limits and checks on potential immigration just as one would want to put limits and checks on potential medicines.

That is what the law is there to do. If the law doesn’t do this then the law fails.

The law should be a reflection of what is good for society not the other way around.

Around election times there are a number of new accounts that show up and behave in a manner that appears to either try to persuade the election or in a manner that is just disruptive to discussion. I saw this in 2016, during the midterms, and expect it again for 2020. In the previous cases right after the election the accounts simultaneously ceased all activity. I kind of expect the same for 2020.

I’m glad new accounts are restricted though. There was an account that tried to start spamming the forums but the moderators were able to quickly contain it and shut it down.

I do hope we’re not going to be getting one of these “It’s a sin to vote Democrat” threads every week between now and the election. Getting really old and stale.

Except for my first vote being Republican I’ve always voted Green or Libertarian.
 
Just do your homework, vote accordingly, and ignore the advice of everyone else. God gave us an intellect, and only he has the authority to judge any of us for our choice. All of our rantings and babbling are just noise.

Which is the result of the covid-19 pandemic. The high unemployment is not due
to Trump’s policies. The economy was good and unemployment low up until
February - March when the lockdowns and stay at home orders began and
restaurants amd businesses closed or employees put on furlough.
