Take responsibility CMatt. It is your job to go tell people how you feel. He can’t read your mind. You may have robbed him of a gift, by letting him know how he came across. Instead, your ran away.

And yet, you can sit back, and without trying to support or even talk to a priest, take pot shots at them when they fall into sin. if you are a member of the flock, then you will stick with the flock, instead of flocking elsewhere!

You must have missed the part about this priest not taking kindly to correction by laity. On another thread I was told if a priest lays down a dress code of allowing only dresses below the knee for women and suits and solid ties only for men, then we obey. No questions asked. You think then I’m going to correct a priest on his homily? No. Better to just recognize the false prophet I believe him to be and move on trying to find a new priest. You know I’m trying to remain Catholic afterall. Peace.

Non-Catholics are not going to hire a Catholic to teach their theology classes.

That depends on the non-Catholic. Some mainline/moderate Protestants think that Catholic perspectives are cool.
