What do you need my exact address to verify how far I am away from the closest Catholic Church? Are you going to Mapquest or google map it for me? Well I’m not going to give you my exact address however it’s close to the wildlife refuge.

Have you called them? Wondering if you’ve had better luck than me.

Thanks. It just annoys me when people think I haven’t been trying. I mean what purpose would I possibly have to lie about not being able to go to church. I want to go. After spending years trying to find the right place for me I did. I hate questioning myself. I dabble in many many religions in the past from far out fundamental Christian( Pentecostal, Jehovah’s Witness, Morman, Church of the Brethren, and Church of God) to normal Christian( non- denominational, Methodist, Lutheran, Southern Baptist, Missionary Baptist, Free Will Baptist, Seven Day Adventist, Church Of Christ the Scientist, Unitarian Universalism, and Native American Church) to non-christian (Wiccan, Bahá’í, and even Buddhism)The first time I went to a mass I felt a feeling I’d never felt before. I want that back.

I think some people like to blame others for their struggles as a way of convincing themselves that they are too positive to let the same thing happen to them.

I didn’t need your exact location, a poorly worded response on my part, I apologize. As I said in my first, I was wondering what part of the South, that was all.
Again, my apology for coming across wrong, as I said in my first post, I truly feel sad for your predicament, and I certainly did not intend to make matters even slightly worse.

@Lisauze, it might be time to start calling the diocese. Mother of Mercy in Washington belongs to the Diocese of Raleigh. (For those unfamiliar with the geography - and to even further make clear how rare Catholic churches are in her part of the world, Raleigh - the capital of NC - is about four hours away from the OP.)

While I was verifying that it fell under Raleigh, I stumbled across this via Google. Just some trivia to maybe help folks understand what it is she’s up against. I found the mini-history of Catholic worship in NC to be interesting.
