Hi Eucharisted! How is that posible when it is a doctrine of theirs through the teachings of Mohammad? If they were to admit this they would quickly realise their Prophet was not a prophet but a lying murderous psychopath and Islam would be no more
. No true Muslim can admit Christians worship one God otherwise they’ld be telling the truth 
which is not good for Islam. Takiyya works better according to their prophet!It is a little like a Muslim asking Christians to believe in Mohammad as a true prophet of God and still remain a Christian… It aint gonna happen. Eucharisted, I can sympathize with your frustration. It seems that this most basic tenet of our faith should be obvious to anyone (especially anyone who regularly posts at Catholic Answers), but sadly this is not the case.
We are perhaps too different. Muslims call us “People of the Book”, for instance, which betrays a huge difference in our epistomologies. I have never met a Christian who calls himself that, or thinks that this is an appropriate or desirable title.
Knowledge of God, attributes of God…none of these are entirely self-evident to those outside of our respective communities. There are still every day people who will post about “Allah the Moon God” or what have you. Muslims, of course, would argue that they do not in fact worship a “moon God”, and I don’t understand how that is any different than our insistence that they are wrong when they call us “associators” - we know that this is not a part of our faith; it is their prophet’s mistake!
It is, in a sense, impossible to get around these sorts of problems. To understand Christian theology, a Muslim would need to adopt a Christian mindset, which would require a different set of mental, philosophical, and theological parameters than his faith allows. Likewise for a Christian to understand Islamic belief as a Muslim would is basically impossible. For example we’re not about to assent to their idea that Muhammad is the “final seal of the prophets” or anything like that, are we?
Instead, I think it is best to say “OK, you believe in whatever it is you believe. I may not like it, I may even hate it, but I recognize that it is your true belief insofar as I trust you to be describing your religion accurately to me.” Anything more than that is likely wishful thinking, as when Muslims imply that we ought to believe in the “prophethood” of Muhammad as they believe in the “prophethood” of Jesus. We know that our religion does not work that way, but they apparently do not or else they wouldn’t try to make those kinds of arguments.
I do most certainly stop well short of respecting the religion itself as being in any way equal or truly comparable to my own. However, acknowledging the reality of the faith of 1+ billion people is not a problem, even if the Muslims do not grant us the same. I guess the difference between a Christian and a Muslim is that for the Christian this “reality of the faith” includes some interpretations of the warlike verses of the Qur’an that are decidedly not Islam-friendly because…well…they’re still murdering us, driving us from our homes, and all the rest that is done with the Qur’an and the Hadith providing the inspiration and pretext for this oppression.
If you’re not going to talk to any Muslim, pray for them. Prayer is the best use of words, anyway.

But the whole Bible proves the trinity over and over. Even Jesus admitted that God is his Father. The OT prooved the trinity and that Jesus is the 2nd entity in the Trinity that is 1 God with 3 entities (Father, Son and Holy Spirit.)

Also in the qur’an itself, whoever is speaking, allah or mohammet???, there are many references to WE.
If these are the words of allah, then why is allah referencing himself as WE?
If these are the words of mohammet, is mohammet then associating himself with allah?
So many inconsistencies, contradictions in the qur’an itself. Allah was very confused - allah never knew from one day to the next what allah’s words were or meant.

Dont be silly you know why. Paars knows more about what we believe in than what we know ourself Surely you cant expect him take the word of a Christian who is destined for hell over the Quran?
