I thought about it too, in the exact terms presented here. Why do I think it’s important - because the truth is important. So our faith is not some lukewarm dream made in the image of our expectations from Him.
I disagree however if these arguments are being used to imply that Christians are able to judge instead of Jesus Christ or just bring an end to our struggle to follow Him in His sacrifice.
Or it’s an excuse for us girls to stop following Theotokos in her meekness as presented in the Bible. To say - I have received the Body of Christ, now I am overpowered and He’s doing things through me - I believe it’s wrong. So to analyze exactly how Jesus is not nice, according to Scripture, is very important. So that we know how to not be nice without straying away from following Him and be loving.
