According to canon 1404 of our code of canon law it says † The First See is judged by no one

Code of Canon Law: New English Translation. (1998).

Does this mean one can not form an opinion about our pope or disagree with anything he says?

No, it means it in legal terms. There is no canonical court that can judge the Pope. He is the Supreme Legislator.

Judgement means to render a verdict ( and enact sentencing).
St Paul argued with Peter to his face and to the other apostles. It was up to St Peter and the magisterium ( the other apostles) to judge ( to reach a binding conclusion that everyone must follow).

When a person mouths out opinions about the pope he is engaging in idle gossip or even dangerous gossip. This is not judging because the person gossiping has no authority to render a decision or to hold others accountable to live by the decision. It is an attempt to sow dissent, unless instead of public complaint, the issue were to be discussed with a bishop, just as Paul discussed his issues with Peter and the other apostles.

The pope is the LORD’s anointed and we all know how David refused to kill Saul, the LORD’s anointed. Our words are swords, let us be careful how we use them.

John Martin

You can form what opinions you think are best and you can think what you want. What that means is that there can be no ecclesiastical tribunal that can try the Pope.
God will judge the Pope. There is anecdotal evidence that there have been some popes who are in Purgatory and a couple who are in Hell.

God can! Of course, he is God!
We are not blind. We are well read & established in Gods word.
We have eyes & ears to see & hear. Judgement is saying someone is going to hell of heaven. To note someone is breaking the commandments is a fact. We are not to gossip. Just pray.
All the rules & laws ever written by man will never stop Gods rules & laws from being clear. If broken, it is evident. What we do w the knowledge is guided by God,also. In LOVE, we communicate, in positive ways, the Word of God. Always to uplift and correct.
