It is appointed for a man once to die. But not necessary. The one thing that makes me sad in the church is to see people suffer unecessarily. People get sick, they age, and they die. No one has
to do those things. “My people suffer from lack of knowledge”.No one has to get sick, age, and die? Where may I obtain this knowledge you say will prevent me from undergoing those things? It is a gift to the righteous. Our bodies have been changed now that the life energy is used up. That can be reversed. Sin did it all. The fathers in the OT did it. and lived “900 and died” Died! Hah. They usually faked deaths and lived more like 10,000 years and disappeared. But I don’t want to get into that because you would see and hear things and judge them before you knew what they were. Jesus did many things not mentioned in the books.
Does anybody else know what billcu1 is talking about? I am not one of the righteous, and I have definitely missed out on this, but is this for real? Are there thousand year old people living today? Is anyone here one of them?

Nutty. I wouldn’t waste time with such people. The only ones exempt from death were our Lord and our Lady, and they both chose to die.

“My people suffer from lack of knowledge”…

sounds Gnostic…

Well I guess technically we die because we sin, so if we never sin then we wouldn’t die…like the Virgin Mary. But she is special. She had special Graces from God. We are not like her, so we unfortunately sin.

All we can do is pray for Grace to be more like her and ask God to forgive us and let us have eternal life. ❤️

Mary chose to die???
I heard a legend from somewhere that she wished in all things to be perfectly conformed to her Son, so she chose to die, which the Orthodox call her Dormition. The Dogma of the Assumption only states, “when her earthly life was finished.” It does not specify whether she died first. So it is an open question. I like the logic of her wish for conformity, though.

We do have to get old and die. But we don’t have to get sick and die prematurely. If we never sinned we wouldn’t get sick. There’s plenty of evidence to support this in the bible.

“my people suffer from a lack of knowledge” is a quote from the old testament.

That guy sounds a bit nutty, he’s got a bit of truth and added some to it.

That’s disputable with regard to our Lord and especially our Lady, though I am personally inclined to agree. But I agree that it’s probably a waste of time to engage the most bizarre people like this in conversation, unless we are some kind of professionals hoping to help the person.

Love4All- I am very interested in what you have to say or where I can research more on immortality, reversing death, life force, and Jesus…

Can you email me at jupiter.deleon@aol.com

With God all things are possible. To those that believe.
Sick? Nothing can be put on us that we are not able to bear.
[To he who is worthy of my secrets I will teach] let not your left hand know what your right hand does.
He who seeks will find and will become troubled the astonished and reign over all (not a part).
