So basically, it seems as though I would need the Petrine Privilege, since I am a baptized non-Catholic and my ex husband was not since he was Muslim. I see that this requires permission of the Pope, however. Is this not an extreme and a time-consuming process?
Further complicating matters, I do not even know how to get in touch with my ex. Isn’t his participation required? Additionally, the marriage was entered into fraudulently by my ex (immigration) and he was unfaithful throughout the marriage. But you’re saying in order to prove this, I would need documentation?
