Exactly. Another point has occurred to me. We are supposed to say ‘Amen’ before receiving, but occasionally someone doesn’t do so before receiving from the chalice. Should EMHCs object? No, because judging from my own experience as a normal communicant. sometimes there isn’t enough time to swallow the Host in between the two events.
