How does someone respond to this?
Lets say I am talking to someone about the Mass and I point out something that someone did deliberately. Not a mistake, not forgetting bring enough hosts, forgetting to turn on a mic, fill up the water fonts, etc…
But when someone does something like invite some guys to dress up like fairies and dance around, or invite half the congregation to get their feet washed, etc…
What do you say when you point this out and the response is,
nobody’s perfect, don’t worry about it?
Am I being uptight, is it that hard to be obedient to what we should do?
I still have never gone to the extraordinary form of the Mass, I have come close in the last couple months but everytime I have ended up still going to the ordinary form of the Mass. What do I say to people who don’t seem to care about obedience? I stay involved and be as quiet as possible, just praying when I see disobedience. It is good for my patience yet am I doing what I should.
(I know, I know, every other thread is about abuse, doesn’t that mean that something is wrong?)
Just following directions would make you perfect in your execution, wouldn’t it? Or perfect enough… No one is perfect?
God Bless
