Are there any miracles that happened in Non-Abrahamic Religions (i.e. Hinduism, Wicca, Greco-Roman, etc.) or apparitions of their God(s) in the last 500 years? I’m curious as to the truth behind them.

There are some. I visited a site in Turkey recently, I can’t remember what it was called or where it was, but it was holy to one of the Mystery Religions because the waters in the pools here were said to have healing properties. (In the modern day it has been discovered that these waters had a low level of radiation, which of course can kill certain maladies).
There are of course the Sybil’s of the Greeks as well, if you want to consider prophecy a miracle. The most famous being the oracle at Delphi.

Mind you, that is not in the last 500 years.
I seem to recall hearing about Buddhist miracles, and Muslim ones. I think most religions probably see them.

yes we do have many miracles,its just we do not use them to prove anything,and the imams usually do not accept them…i guess its the best thing to do so

Yes, many, many miracles in Hinduism. Many saints, yes. Recognized by Abrahamic faiths? No. Abrahamic miracles and saints recognized by Hinduism? Yes - all of them.

if there were such events, what mechanism or authority would have been in place to test and verify their miraculous nature? The Catholic Church (or Orthodox) to my knowledge are the only institutions that have such a process in place.

anyway,some muslims recognize Buddha,its very possible and many muslims believe he was one of the prophets.We believe in islam that all nations had their prophets,and not all are mentioned in the Koran.

Hi Bosnian Muslim: No offense intended on the Abrahamic term. Just I term I use in my head to categorize religions that have the Old Testament as a common origin. I can easily use any term you or anyone else prefers.
On the other point, I didn’t know that Muslims believed that all religions had their prophets. I like it when I learn something new.

I remember years ago there was this big thing where all these statues of a particular Hindu god drank milk for like a week. It was on the TV news and everything- they’d put a spoonful of milk up to the statue’s mouth, and it would disappear as if being drunk. No spillage, no holes in the statues- it was all over the country (India), every single statue of this god did it, and on several different videos from reliable media. It was really weird.

I also saw a statue of Mary once that they said used to cry. They brought it to my town. I didn’t see it cry but I felt something very powerful when I saw it.Yes, that was Ganesh. It was strange.

I believe the “milk-slurping statues” may have been a result of surface tension, as some have seen colored milk running down the statues on the same day as part of an analyzation of it. Either way, kinda odd.

I saw an interesting thing on Discovery (I think) that many Greek idols were designed to do these things, they’d have tubes and whatnot that someone hidden away could suck up liquids so it appeared the statue was drinking.
Not that I’m saying that’s what happened here, in fact I remember this being on the news and given what they showed it certainly wasn’t the case, I just think it’s an interesting addition.

Islam teaches us that there is only one truth,and that truth has been shown in different times to all peoples through the prophets.The true messages were usually forgotten after the prophets passed away.Some of the prophets were mentioned in the Koran and some were not.Buddha would be one of those not mentioned (if he was a prophet of God).So we dont believe that all religions had prophets,we believe all people had their prophets.They were all local prophets with a mission to teach just their own people about God…the only prophet that was sent to the whole world was prophet Mohammad…thats why he is called the seal of the prophets.He was sent to the arabs,africans,jews,europeans …everyone

For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

So yeah, even if a non-Christian religious person can perform a miracle, it doesn’t mean that it is really from God.

False Christs and false prophets can not even have a miracles it is just a magic from devil and evil powers !
Or God may let them to show it for those with poor Faith to test them .
