Can someone who isn’t baptized cross themselves with Holy Water?

Why not??? There is nothing wrong with someone, who is not one of us, using Holy Water as long as it is not used in a sacrilegious manner. It will actually have a beneficial effect upon them.

Sacramentals affect our disposition to receive grace. Grace received in baptism is…the mist important thing ever.

What are you waiting on for baptism?

We weren’t able to baptize my youngest sister until she was 4 (and her adoption was finalized). When she was about 2, she somehow fell into the baptismal font after mass when my mother was talking to a friend in the narthex. The priest joked that it was just a “pre-blessing”.

Sacramentals would dispose the unbaptized towards baptism! 👍

We advise our catechumens to use holy water in anticipation of their baptism.
